Rotaract Club at UTSA, Rotary District 5840

The Rotaract Club at UTSA is a business-oriented community service organization that is dedicated to enhancing personal development and promoting camaraderie through the meeting of physical and societal needs of the UTSA and San Antonio communities.

This organization was originally established by the San Antonio Stone Oak Rotary Club and revived in the fall of 2010 by the former president, Jeremy Herrero, under the sponsorship of our advisor, Evaristo Hinojosa, and the San Antonio Dominion Rotary Club. Jeremy's vision is to inspire and promote activism amongst young adults and to share his passion for service. With this vision in mind, our mission became to awaken the spirit of service among students to actively seek collective change within the culture in which they reside.

Rotaract constituents hail from a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, ages, nationalities, and religions which gives our organization the advantage of multiple perspectives and approaches to education and philanthropy. By engaging community leaders and Rotarians in our endeavors, we aim for our members to gain experience and vocational competence that will assist them in professional development.
